You can get away with the free version but playlists are limited. It's incredibly easy to set it up and seems to be very stable.īest of all it's free, however you will need the pro version of aWaRemote which costs less than 2 quid.

I use Foobar and Foobarcon remote for my audio and although I can also do this radio station/playlist in Foobar and remotley control it with Foobarcon it's buggy with radio station play lists and I find winamp better suited. I can add any radio station I want as a playlist in Winamp and with Winamp being one of the most powerful radio players available (apparently) I have a lot of confidence in it's ability. The only problem I have now is ther latest version of winamp puts playlists into the wrong destination and aWaRemote cant find them, easy to sort out, I need to download the previous version of Winamp (on the winamp site) or wait for a week for two for the developer of aWaRemote to fix the bug, I have EMailed him and he replied telling me to either wait a week or two or download the earlier version of Winamp. I then opened the radio stations here by right clicking on them, ''copy'' then in winamp I used the ''open file from url'' option, then pasted the address in, then when it played the station I saved it as a playlist. It can shut down the PC, put it onto sleep or hibernate mode as well. This server isnt a Winamp plug in so it can start and stop Winamp remotely as well as control it. Includes controls for navigating Theater View. Browse and play your media, switch zones, edit playlists and metadata. NAVIGATE AND MANAGE Control JRiver Media Center from a phone or tablet.

Questions Please visit the JRiver forum to learn more or ask questions. I downloaded aWaRemote to the tablet then downloaded the system tray server for it to my PC. JRemote is a remote app for JRiver Media Center. Thanks chap, I think I have found a solution.
